Important Information About the Personal Data Local Union 392 Federal Credit Union Collects, and How It Is Used To Enable Us To Provide Products or Services To You
INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU:
We collect nonpublic information about you from the following source(s):
- Information we receive from you on applications and other forms; your name, address, social security number, assets and income.
- Information about your transactions with us or others; such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions and credit card usage.
- Information we receive from a credit reporting agency; such as your creditworthiness and credit history.
- Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other forms. This may be obtained from your current or past employers, or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions.
INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE:
We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above.
PARTIES WHO RECEIVE INFORMATION FROM US:
We may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to the following types of third parties:
- Financial companies, such as, insurance companies and mortgage service companies
- Non-financial companies, such as, consumer reporting agencies and retailers
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO PARTIES THAT PROVIDE SERVICES TO US:
We may disclose some or all of the information we collect, as described above to the following types of third parties:
- Financial service providers, such as, mortgage bankers, securities brokers/dealers and insurance agents
- Non-financial companies, such as, retailers, direct marketers and publishers
- Companies that perform marketing services on our behalf and/or other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law.
WEB SITE PRIVACY STATEMENT:
We may gather information including your computer IP address, the pages requested, URL's accessed, browsers used, as well as, dates and times of your requests. Having this data generates statistics that allow us to improve our web services. We do not collect personally identifiable information.
We may provide links to other sites from any of our pages; however, if you leave our site to visit another site via our link, we can not be responsible for information they collect or use. Nor can we be liable for any of their contents, availability or accessibility.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION ABOUT FORMER MEMBERS:
If you decide to terminate your membership with Local Union 392 Federal Credit Union, we will not share information that we have collected about you, except as may be permitted or required by law.
HOW TO STOP OR "OPT OUT" OF CERTAIN DISCLOSURES ABOUT YOU:
If you prefer that we do not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). Non-members, joint account holders, co-borrowers and guarantors may exercise the right to opt out. For joint account holders, we will treat an opt out request as applying to everyone listed on the account unless you direct us otherwise. If you wish to opt out of our disclosures to non-financial companies, such as, retailers, direct marketers, publishers or others, such as, non-profit organizations, call (513) 621-4600, option 4.
You may opt out of these disclosures at any time. Once we receive your request, we have a reasonable amount of time to stop the disclosures. You may always contact us for assistance if you wish to later revoke your opt out election.
Note that this opt out, by law, will not apply to disclosures that are legally permitted or to disclosures we make to companies that perform services on our behalf or to other financial institutions which we endorse and that have joint marketing agreements with us.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION:
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
This notification meets the notification requirements of the National Credit Union Administration regulation on privacy of consumer information, Part 716. Credit union members and the public may receive copies of this notice of privacy practices by contacting the credit union.
